Empowering Youth Through Music, Film, and Media Technology

Vision:
The Unity 4 Life UMEG program is dedicated to enhancing community wellbeing by offering positive educational and mentoring opportunities to youth, steering them away from gang-related and criminal activities. Our goal is to make a meaningful impact by fostering unity, education, and creative expression through music and media.

Our Purpose:
Unity 4 Life takes pride in the success stories of our students, such as saxophonist Bryan Thompson, who has performed at the Oscars and toured with renowned artists. Through our program, we utilize music as a means to raise awareness about community issues and inspire a collective effort towards positive change. We call this approach EDUTAINMENT– merging education and entertainment to inspire unity.

Our Initiatives:

1. Youth Mentorship
   We provide a state-of-the-art production and broadcast facility in Indianapolis, Indiana, along with collaborations with educators in Los Angeles. Our facility empowers at-risk youth by equipping them with valuable skills in music, media, and technology.

2. Community Engagement
   The Unity 4 Life Tour encourages local and world-class artists to participate in events promoting peace and productivity. Through music, film, and community dialogues, we aim to unite and energize individuals toward a violence-free community.

3. Positive Role Models
   Recognizing the influence of popular culture, we invite hip-hop and R&B artists to mentor students, sharing insights into careers in music and media, and fostering a passion for creative industries.

4. Broadcast Training for Youth
   The Junior Broadcasting Initiative trains youth (ages 12-21) in radio broadcasting, vocal projection, and commercial production. Graduates of this four-month program earn a Broadcast Certification, preparing them for roles in professional broadcasting environments.

5. Docu-Series: "Edutainment"
   Our documentary series, "Edutainment," captures the inspiring journeys of our students as they build their careers in the entertainment industry, highlighting the impact of mentorship and skill development.

Our Projects:

• Unity 4 Life Tour featuring FUNKSTOCK 2025
  The annual tour engages students in live event production, providing hands-on experience in the music and film industries.

• Welcome to Skunkville
  A culturally significant cartoon series, "Welcome to Skunkville," created by Paul Thomas, offers students the chance to work on a creative and original animated project.

Education and Training Opportunities

Our comprehensive curriculum spans from January to June 2025, with courses available both online and in-person. Graduates will have the chance to work on Unity 4 Life events nationwide, gaining real-world experience in the entertainment sector.

Media Distribution and Partnerships

Unity 4 Life collaborates with Win Media Live and Iizon.TV Network to deliver content across OTT, IPTV, and satellite platforms, reaching a global audience. Through our partnerships, we aim to bring positive messaging to at-risk communities and support independent artists, labels, filmmakers, and more.

Donations and Sponsorship:
A portion of proceeds from tour ticket sales will support community organizations dedicated to education and violence prevention. We are actively seeking funding to support our restructured mentorship programs, which are critical in fostering safe, thriving communities.
